Google came to AKQA for a site to launch their Bay area Impact Challenge. As part of the AKQA team, I hit the streets of San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose with a film production crew, and we interviewed community members at schools, food banks, non-profits and parks. We highlighted community member portraits and perspectives on the launch site to connect directly with the community Google would be serving through this effort.

We compiled the footage from these interviews to create a short video that lived on the launch site. The video reveals that the bay area individuals are passionate about their neighborhoods and want to see them preserved by improving classrooms, fighting crime, providing affordable housing and protecting the environment.
